A twelve-week course split into thirty-minute lessons, designed for complete beginners or those looking to return to piano. We’ll go over rhythm, keyboard geography, reading sheet music, and simple both-hand melodies. We’ll even throw in a song or two you’d like to learn!

Theory Basics 1
A twelve-week introductory course into the world of music theory, split into 30-minute increments. We’ll build a solid foundation; understanding notation, rhythm, scales, intervals, and chord structures.

Composition 1
Ever wondered what makes a melody catchy? Why some pop songs sound remarkably similar? This twelve-week add-on course to Theory Basics 1 gives you the tools to write your own hits, and understand the ones you love. We’ll go over chords, cadences, texture, and expression, and let you write your own music to impress your friends!
